Identifying Features || All of the marks of her gods and goddesses are on the inside of her wings.  The silver lightning bolt of the god of storms is inside her left wing, along with the white full moon of the goddess of the moon.  Inside her left wing is the purple and orange eye of Nehrune and the six pointed star of Esera



Clothing || Avoids it when possible, it hinders flight.  Nebulosa carries a pouch of coins, but it's a little bit to heavy for her to carry.



Weapons || She keeps a small knife strapped to her leg





the personality

Overall || Cheera is a tiny bird with a big personality.  She was raised by one of the largest known owl species, and sometimes she forgets she isn't as big as they are.  She spends most of her time with Nebulosa.  She doesn't understand why she's marked and Nebulosa isn't, but they can communicate just fine.

She's chirpy and happy, and she's very friendly. She has an innocent, childlike face and a sweet, innocent, trustworthy demeanor, which makes it easy for her to get out of tricky situations.  She's also tiny enough that most creatures never notice or suspect her.  She also pretends to be much younger and less intelligent than she is, which often helps her get away with things that would put other animals in a lot of trouble.

She uses this to her advantage regularly as she searches for slaves.  The slaves of Atheraan know her well.  Her hearing is impeccable, and she listens primarily for songs with the word "cheer" in it.  It will bring her in and she'll be there that night to see what is needed.  She can fit into spaces just 2x2 or 3x3 inches, making her very efficient in the job she has adopted.  Working with Nebula, she will bring whatever is needed, from comfort to food to anything else the two of them can carry.




the history

Family || She doesn't know her biological parents, but Nebulosa and her mother, Lappi, raised her.  Lappi, age 50, is presumed dead

History || Cheera's parents were slaves, and she assumes that the rest of her clutch are also slaves.  A great gray owl, Lappi, stole her egg after her other two eggs were stolen, she tried to go back for more but the nest had been moved.  

Nebulosa hatched first, about two weeks before Cheera, and Lappi was beginning to think the eggs would never hatch.  She didn't know what kind of owl she was until a little while after she hatched.  When she was older, she explained everything that she knew about her family.  When Cheera was about ten, she and Nebula left the nest for a few days.  When they returned, the nest was gone, and they hadn't seen Lappi since.  They've been travelling together ever since, seeking out and helping slaves they could find.  Cheera has a great memory for names and where they are, and checks in with each one at least every other week.
