Here you will find a list of site-wide plots. These are open to those who wish to participate, and the direction they proceed is up to you, our members!
Parthaan's Civil War
In years past, the mighty King Auryn united the disparate clans and tribes of Parthaan, bringing them under the banner of his glorious Golden Empire. During his lifetime, his control over the regions of the continent became absolute, rivaled by none, and Parthaan knew prosperity, if not the traditional freedom of custom and culture it once had. King Auryn’s three children governed over three of the largest cities of Parthaan, and each of the three royal children believed that they possessed the skills required to succeed their noble father. When King Auryn died, therefore, the line of succession was all but agreed on, and each region had a different idea about who should be king with Auryn gone. The tribes of the Aori desert had long been faithful to Auryn’s middle child, while those of the rainforest region of Tenidyr favored his youngest. Auryn’s own knights in the city of Evryll wished to follow the eldest, who had remained by his father’s side until the end of the king's life. Auryn himself had not explicitly appointed an heir, and the disputes over succession escalated into all out civil war between the three factions. Some of the southwestern clans, those who had never known much consideration under Auryn’s reign, retreated to their own territories, trying (and mostly failing) to avoid the fighting between Parthaan’s three factions and calling themselves collectively the 'Clans of Lynaera'.
The current atmosphere of Parthaan is one of chaos. War rages, and the nobles of all kingdoms live under the shadows of assassins and secrets. No one knows which kingdom will emerge the victor in the end.
The Factions
The Kingdom of Evrylline
Led by King Auryn's eldest son. The army of Evryll consists of trained knights, those loyal to the household of Auryn, who believe he intended his eldest to succeed him upon his death.

The Kingdom of Tenidyr
Led by King Auryn's youngest child. The followers of Tenidyr are diverse as far as species go, and the port city of Tenidyr has long been considered Parthaan's most beautiful city. Its residents have long regarded it as the rightful seat of power, desipte Evryll being the capital under Auryn's reign, and its residents are fiercely loyal to their leader and his/her claim to the throne because of this rivalry.

The Aori Tribe
Led by King Auryn's middle child. The creatures of the desert are resilient and stubborn. They believe the other two children of King Auryn have no concern for their troubles and no real knowledge of the struggles they face, living in the barren desert lands of Parthaan.

The Atheraan and Nimeole Slave Trades
For centuries the Kingdoms and Tribes of Atheraan and Nimeole has based their entire societies on the owning of slaves. The weak or conquered serve the powerful and wealthy. Some treat their slaves with respect, giving them dignity with their service. Most treat their slaves with cruelty and sow fear as a means to get more power and wealth.
Many rebellions have tried to rise up and none of them have been successful. After each rebellion, the slaves’ masters simply make life that much harder for them. A few brave souls from the free countries have also tried to uproot the system but the wealthy have always managed to pay them off in various ways to maintain their selfish way of life. Those who refused to be bought were killed by strong armies and naval forces. Eventually, through the years, the large rebellions stopped altogether and the free countries stopped trying to free the slaves of their neighboring countries as trading with them became more and more important. Small revolts still exist and pop up here and there but they do no good for the long term of the slaves.
The Factions
The Kingdom of Rynidaan Almost all of the slaves in Rynidaan are treated very well. Most of the slaves here are thankful to the Goddess of Love for this reason. Some are not even seen as slaves because they are working to pay off debts to their masters for their service. The connections between master and slave in this Kingdom are usually very strong and even after a slave has paid their debt, a lot of them choose to stay with their master and simply become part of the family.
The Kingdom Between the Twins This Kingdom is known as one of the wealthiest kingdom's in all of Paradiastole. Some even say that the Twins rival the wealth of all of the kingdom's of Parthaan combined. It was because of this wealth and power that the slaving has never ended. Masters are cruel here in an effort to climb to the top with power. Power is often determined by the number and loyalty (through fear) of a master's slaves. The free countries always get a bad taste in their mouths from having any dealings with the Twins. Rebellions have slowed to a stop here. As soon as the master's get an hint of a rebellion starting, they murder those who were involved. Life is not easy in the Twins. Anyone can become a slave at any moment.
The City of Chendri Surprisingly, slaves are not common in or around this city. What little slaves that there are are usually in very small numbers. A family might have a slave or two to help with the chores or take care of the children. A scholar might have one to help with organization. How each slave is treated depends on the character of the master or the master's family.
However do not be fooled. This city has the largest underground trading in all of Paradiastole. All of the Chendri traders are forced into trading something for the various underground Black Markets if they wish to be successful. These include equipment and weapons for assassins, spies, illegal bounty hunters, slaves, and much more.
The underground Black Market in the city hides their large amount of slaves in plain sight however. In the form of Gladiator battles that animals come from all of the world to see. The public believes that these gladiators are either free or participating willingly. Neither of which are true. The traders use these battles to depend on where each slave will go. The better a slave does, the easier life he or she will have unless some master takes mercy of them. The best slaves stay as ‘champions’ in the battles though. These champions are treated very well and some even forget that they are slaves after a while.
The Krios Kingdom of Nimeole The slave population in Krios is quite large. Large enough that over half of the population are slaves. How the master's keep control of their slaves is with a mixture of fear and respect. The trading of slaves from master to master is very common here in order to maintain control. With Mrithun being the patron God over Nimeole, most slaves are never freed and die as slaves. Though the slaves have hope because it is said that if a slave serves his or her master dutifully and to the best of their ability, Mrithun will give them special blessings in the afterlife as he ferries them to their respective gods’ and goddesses’ lands. No one knows if this is true or not though.
Needed:- Masters of all kinds - Masters won't be considered group leaders unless you plan on having a very powerful one who has multiple slave characters made by other members
- Slaves of all kinds
- Traders who are connected to the underground Black Markets globally
- Those willing to free them
