Not so Quiet Night by Deleted

The western city of Evryll is a meeting place for animals of the nearby Drezzil Rainforest and those of the Arshaa Savannah spreading to the east. The city itself spreads over grasslands and into the trees of the rainforest, where the huts of the land below wind up into the trees in a series of treehouses some say the God of Construction designed.

This wide plain is arid and hot, with only the great Shaazaan Oasis as a consistent source of water for its residents. That can make the Savannah a harsh place to live, but the animals dwelling here are resilient.

Cluster Peaks

The Cluster Peaks are the tall, narrow mountains that separate the city of Evryll and its surrounding plains from the Neveran Valley and the mountains beyond. The peaks are nearly impossible to traverse. Various birds who dwell there make a tidy profit as guides when the need arises, but most creatures opt to follow the course of the Tenidae River rather than brave the twisting pathways of the mountains.
