Identifying Features || Lestris’ white full moon Mark is found in the middle of Night's chest. He has a few scars here and there.

Clothing || Night is very frequently found in thick, black, and hooded cloaks to keep warm in winter. If the weather gets really bad, he'll also throw on loose shirts for added warmth.

Weapons || Night has many weapons though his favorites include a pair of daggers and an axe that he keeps on him at all times. Night is also known to carry a sword with him on long journeys.


the personality
Overall ||

One of the first things that everyone notices about Night is that he looks fierce. He has the skills to back up this fierceness too. Though Night is very accepting of everyone and is one of the most nonjudgemental animals that anyone will ever meet. He is loyal to the extreme and will fight to the death to protect those he cares for. His parents instilled in Night a good sense of right and wrong as well as to listen to his instincts regardless of what others might tell him.

Though with his truth and danger sensing, Night refuses to be considered a fool. He gives everyone second and third chances because he is very forgiving but depending on the lie, Night can sever friendships and relationships. That is never easy to do for him though so Night will generally try talking things out beforehand.

He does have a Northern accent that is noticed by others very quickly.

History ||

The orphanage had told Bellow and Rain that the two wolf pups had a difficult start to the world. Their mother had been a slave who ran away from her master and headed up North, continents away. Almost as soon as she stepped paw in Verys, a pack of wolves swooped her up to become part of the pack on the outskirts of the Southern Tribe. Life was good for their mother for a few years until her master found her. Instead of allowing her pack to be hurt, their mother went with her master willingly. Before they left Verys, her master hired entertainers and forced them onto their mother to show his anger. The two left Verys but it wasn't long when the master came back to dump her off in disgust. She was heavily pregnant and on the brink of death from all the beatings her master had given her. The master left Verys without a second glance at his slave. Not even an hour later, Night's mother went into labor. Others notices and got help as fast as they could. The healer of the Southern Tribe did his best to deliver the pups before the she-wolf died but he was unable to save half the litter. There ended up being three surviving pups that were monitored for the first few days. One of the pups died after the fifth day. At that point, the Southern Tribe was nervous about keeping the pups, convinced that they were bad omens and forced the Chief to give them both to the only orphanage in Verys.

Night and Moon were adopted by Bellow and Rain when they were almost a year old. The odd couple had been fostering children for years and had finally decided to adopt. And Night and Moon were the only wolves in the orphanage at the time. The couple taught them how to be accepting of everyone and wise with their giftings. They encouraged learning many different things. Though there were times when Rain and Bellow had to be strict, the occasions were for safety and compassion.

By the age of three, Rain and Bellow decided to adopt another child, a male polar bear named Ice. Night grew particularly close to Ice. Moon grew attached to a few of the foster kids that their parents still took in. As they grew older, Night found his greatest wish to be just like Bellow, to be strong and courageous, to be a Watcher and a warrior. Bellow noticed his interest and started teaching Night to fight. Soon after, Ice joined in with the lessons though Ice had other ambitions.

A few years later and Night entered training to become a Watcher. He was easily one of the best but because of the compassion that his adoptive parents taught him, Night refused to leave anyone behind. He gained the loyalty of the other trainees very quickly and within a few months, Night became a Watcher along with all of the other trainees.

Some years later and Night rose through the ranks until he was given his own personal scribe; a mouse named Dust. The other Watchers jokingly made fun of the pair but Night was kind and the two became fast friends. It was soon after this that Night commanded his first battle. The Southern Tribe had been harassing a small pack on the border because the pack was made up of different animal species. Night led the charge and everyone fought bravely. By the end of the battle, the Watchers had driven the Southern Tribe away. It was then that a raven flew with an urgent message for Night to return back to his home.

Night arrived just in time to see his mother pass away. She had been murdered. After that, his family has never been the same. Bellow and Ice tried their best to show Night and Moon that mercy and forgiveness was the best course of action. Neither listened though. Moon was the first to leave and she left without saying goodbye. No one has heard from her since. Night waited for weeks for his sister to come back home. When it became clear that she wasn't coming back, Night said farewells to Ice and Bellow as well as promising to keep in touch, before he too left home. Before he left, Bellow gave his son the axe that was his favorite weapon while Ice had given his brother the best sword he had ever made since he found his calling as a Smith.

For the year now, Night has been traveling in search of his sister and his mother's murderer. Recently though, he's been feeling like he needs to find the truth before he can find his sister and the murderer.
