Identifying Features || Ua is sleek, her flesh mostly blues, whites, and grays. There's a slight nick in her tail and a few old, twisted scars along her side. The water droplet Mark of Sharysaan is clearly visible on her forehead.

Clothing || Ua has a sleek harness fit with secure packs that hold the things she "finds."

Weapons || Weapons are not really Ua's style.


the personality
Overall || Ua is a talkative, optimistic creature with a penchant for getting herself into dangerous situations. She's foolishly brave sometimes, letting her love of exploring and her deep compulsion to find things get her into one sticky situation after another. Still, she's got a quick mind and can usually get herself out of trouble when necessary.

When something is lost at sea, it's lost forever - or so some say. But Ua has made it her life's mission to find lost things, anything for anyone she always says. Ua isn't picky about who she helps. While she's a rather kind soul, she's also too preoccupied with her own business to spend too much time wondering about others' intentions or needs. In this sense she can be self-centered, even considering her attempts to help others recover lost property.

Tending towards focusing on herself, Ua finds it difficult to empathize with others, at times, as her own emotions take precedence. In this sense she is not the most socially adept creature, and while she lives her life helping others and bringing them back the things they've lost, she doesn't tend to spend much time with any of those creatures. The only companion she needs, in Ua's mind, is her clingy octopus, Omu. She talks to him and he doesn't bore her by talking back nonsense. It's the perfect relationship.

Important People || She has a rather "attached" Unmarked mimic octopus she named Omu who kind of became her pet by accident. Now he helps her when she finds things by scooping them up with his tentacles and placing them in the packs attached to her harness.

Hometown || The Thresian Ocean

History || Uana Li was born in the Thresian Ocean, the third child of her parents, Koihiro and Lohia. As the youngest, she always swallowed up all the attention, and her parents readily gave it to her. She was their baby, and they spoiled her a little, much to her siblings' annoyance. Even from a young age, Ua loved to explore. She spent a great deal of her childhood getting herself into trouble by going places she shouldn't, finding herself stuck here and there, encountering danger wherever it lurked in the warm waters of her home. On one of these fateful encounters, she nearly got eaten by a savage Unmarked shark, but she managed to swim away from it and trap it among rocks. One of the rocks that fell, though, struck Ua in the head and knocked her unconscious. Her family found her later and managed to get her to a safe place where she could recover.

After that accident, Ua changed. She became nervous sometimes, seeing things that weren't there, talking to herself. Over time, her symptoms receded somewhat, but she was left with on peculiar compulsion - the need to find things. Lost things. Her family couldn't quite understand why she always needed to be out looking, scouring in the reefs and oceans, always wanting to find something no one thought could be found. This became her obsession, one her family tried to break her of. Deciding that her family couldn't understand her, she left them to head out on her own and make her own way in the world.

Ua was searching the wreckage of a sunken merchant ship for cargo when she met Omu. The mimic octopus saw her gathering up the cargo and pulling it up to the surface or nosing it out of the sand, and it began to help, mimicking her actions. Ua noticed, and she came closer. The octopus attached itself to her back, wrappings its arms around her, and while at first Ua was annoyed, she let the thing stay. Omu began her help mate in her finder tasks, and the two have been inseparable ever since.
